How to Choose a Fuel Tanker Trailer?
1. Tanker Material:
Tanker trailers come in three common materials;
Carbon Steel: Low cost, strong, but heavy. Ideal for diesel and petrol.
Aluminum: Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, but more expensive and less strong.
Stainless Steel: Excellent corrosion resistance, strong, long-lasting. Good for high-purity liquids. More expensive than carbon steel.

2. What Are You Transporting?
Diesel/petrol: Carbon steel tanks work fine.
Chemicals: For acids, solvents, etc., choose stainless steel, aluminum, or lined tanks.
Edible Oils: Must use food-grade stainless steel with a polished interior.
Hot Bitumen: Requires special tanks with heating and insulation.
3. Number of Compartments
Tank trailer usually has 2 to 5 compartments. Multi-compartments let you carry different liquids at once and reduce sloshing for better stability. Internal baffles also help control liquid movement and improve safety.
4. Safety & Suspension
Safety Features;
Emergency shut-off valve
Pressure relief valve
Fire extinguisher
Side and rear underrun protection
Suspension Types;
Mechanical Suspension: Strong, durable, good for rough roads.
Air Suspension: Smoother ride on good roads, but less rugged than mechanical suspension.
